Nigeria@61, Nasarawa@25: Sule Commends Buhari, Nigeria Army For Dislodging Boko Haram Insurgents In Toto Local Government

Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigeria Army for dislodging Boko Haram insurgents In Toto Local Government Council of the State.
The State Governor averred that the commitment of the President has led to the dislodging of Boko Haram in Kenyihu forest, a forest that is housing bandits, insurgents, and all sorts of criminals.
Engineer Abdullahi Sule in his speech applauded the founding fathers of Nasarawa State created on October 1, 1996.
He further explained that the current Federal Government also succeeded in combating and dislodging members of Darul Salam Islamic sect, making the State a safer place.
Other efforts to restore normalcy in the border town of Nasarawa State lead to the establishment of the military super camp in Kenyihu and the establishment of a national task force which comprises of Vigilante group, said the Governor.
He said the peaceful atmosphere in the State gave rise to the coming of series of the company which he explained to includes Olam Rice Farm, Flour mills of Nigeria, Dangote sugar company, and amongst others.

Other achievements also include the stability of not only the salary of workers at the state level but also the staff of the Local Government.
Engineer Abdullahi Sule maintained that the State Government would ensure the construction of more rural roads to improve the social-economic activities of the state.
He affirmed that all the ongoing rural roads started by his administration would be completed in the next eight months.
He listed some of the ongoing rural roads to include Angoro-Bassa, Atabula-Shupe, Gitata-Panda roads.
In the area of providing a robust and efficient health care delivery, Engineer Abdullahi Sule averred that more beds were provided as well as the expansion of the State tertiary hospital, The Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia.
In the area of power supply, The Governor confided that the State Government is promptly pressuring the NIPP to ensure stability in power supply
Governor Abdullahi Sule said a greater premium was given to water supply by ensuring the rehabilitation of the existing Water Board, He added that prior attention was given to poverty alleviation.
