Plateau state indigent can hive a sigh of relief since the beginning of the Governor Simon Bako lalong led administration came on board in 2015 general election.
The stakeholder of the Ngas elder’s forum in Kanke local government Area of plateau state, Col Sunday Shwatshak Kaswe, Mss, fss, Bsc, MIAD has joined his community in the state to pour encomium on the authorities of Governor Simon lalong for the construction of Dawaki Dam, Dawaki road linking shere, shwar, Timbilink.
Speaking to our correspondence at Nigeria Union of journalists, plateau state council, Jos Col Kaswe Rtd express delight with the speed of work at site by appealing to the people of the area to rally round their full governor lalong led administration.
He explained that although the government is witnessing recession but the experience of Lalong transformation agenda is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the state enjoy the dividend of democracy.
According to him, before now, plateau state being a civil service state, you find out that a lot of Civil servant has been leaving in perpetual fear and object poverty.
However, he stressed that the only class of people that have been surviving are wealth creating individual who do not have any thing much do with salary and pension, as this was additional resources to them.
Col Kaswe Rtd disclosed that with the coming of Lalong led administration on board the citizens of plateau state are now witnessing prompt payment of salary, pension which has gone along way to alleviate the suffering of the people and also provide food security to the teeming populace.
He encouraged that the APC government with its rescue agenda is presently paying graduates, training women and youth on empowerment program across the country.
Furthermore, he added that the Lalong led administration has kick start the construction of major roads network in all the 17 local government Areas to facilitate easy movement of business activities.
We commend Lalong in kanke LGA by constructing some important road including Dawaki, Tapul, Seri, Shwar, Timbilink as well as ensuring that the witness developmental strife in the area.
In the light of the above, therefore, the Rtd Col Kaswe praised the initiative of repositioning plateau state as a home of peace and tourism.
According to him, it was a reminder that governor Lalong government exercises his power to restore the realm of transforming the state moribund industries as source of income tax generation.
