Next Jigawa Is An Intellectual Pressure Group – SSG

The Secretary to the Jigawa State Government (SSG), Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Mamsa described the Next Jigawa Forum as a collaboration of intellectuals that formed a decent pressure group in the state.

Alhaji Bala Ibrahim made the description shortly after the delegation of the forum presented the tracker developed by the group to track government policies and programs held at his office on Thursday.

The SSG who promised to give all his support to the forum said, that since his assumption into the SSG office, he has never received a group of intellectuals from various professions with gender base balances like that group of Next Jigawa.

While reacting to the developed tracker, he was highly impressed with the tracker, adding that it is well well-articulated framework that would ease Jigawa government’s activities.

According to him, the developed and articulated framework is going the same line with the twelve-point agenda of the present administration of Governor Malam Umar Namadi particularly on issues of priorities like women and children’s welfare.

He then assured more support to the forum adding that”we will assign every ministry to develop a framework for you to ease your work of supporting the government to achieve the desired objectives”, .

While presenting the tracker, the chairman of Next Jigawa Forum Professor Usman Haruna said, the documents is the needs and aspirations of the entire Jigawa people collected from citizens across 27 local government in the state.

He added that demand charters is harmonized with the twelve-point agenda of the present administration in the state.

According to him, the tracker was copied from developed countries and domesticated to help the Jigawa government Excel in its programs and activities.
