Honorable Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, member House of representative representing Awe, Doma, Keana federal constituency has enjoined people of his constituency to imbibe the spirit of togetherness, peace and tolerance.
Onawo disclosed in an interview during a reception in his honour organized by constituents who benefited from his federal government employment initiative as mark of appreciation programme.
In his new Year message, Hon.Onawo called for peaceful coexistence, urging the people to leave as one and indefatigable people, describing peace as a catalyst for societal growth.
He urged the subordinates to pray for the sustainable of unity, peace and progress of the state at all times.
Calling on subordinates to remain, calm, resolute and exhibit patience with the government in power, attributing the current economic recession as a global phenomenon.
Tasking the populace to put all hands on deck for the development of the stat, he stated that “Roundtable remained is the only panacea for resolving societal problems but not through violence”.
The member representing Awe, Doma, Keana urged the 30 beneficiaries of his federal government employment initiative to extend their hands of fellowship to the wider society.
He says he would do more by carrying all and sundry along, in addition admonished people of his constituency to support those in need of assistance.
Leader of the beneficiaries, Muhammed Ali expressed joy, saying Ogoshi Onawo breaks the ranks of people’s representative from the constituency, saying the beneficiaries would take over from the member House of Representatives in no distance time.
The state chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, the PDP Hon.Francis Orogu commended Hon.Ogoshi Onawo for a pragmatic representation of his constituency, the party chairman of Doma local government, Abubakar Okyula who represent the state chairman has said.
He called on the beneficiaries of the olive branches of the honorable member to give utmost attention to the PDP by supporting the party.
Also the pioneer state chairman of the PDP, Ambassador Polycarp Azige applauded the member for his people-oriented initiative, urging other politicians to do emulate him.
