NDE has organized a five-day training for 130 women on natural organic products, stone beadworks and perfume, and makeup as well as event decoration, the participants were drawn from various local government areas in the state.
The state coordinator Mal Abubakar Muhd jamoh has said the programme done on the three categories mentioned above is to make women self-reliant.
He charged the participants to pay more emphasis to learning because the training is free and is conducted with aim of reducing unemployment, which is targeted at reducing the menace of poverty among women’s groups.
The coordinator said at the end of the workshop each of the participants will receive a transport allowance and the thirty best among the participants would be selected to also collect financial support of twenty thousand Naira each.
He assured us that the training will last for five days and the participants will be in different locations depending on the nature of their course.
Also, Hajia Aisha Aliyu who represented the National Director Of The National Directorate Of Employment, NDE, at the occasion said she was at the state to witness the activities.
