NCCE to grants JIBWIS College of Education By Yakubu Busari,Jos

The National Commission for Colleges of Education has expressed appreciation over the facilities inspected east the temporary, and permanent sites of the Proposed Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), College of Education Jos.
NCCE’s Deputy Director Department of Academic Programme, Mr. Vitalis Uji, who led the team of Seven man delegation to the Proposed  College, said the college has in place good laboratory, library, ICT center, as well as administrative block at the Temporary site, of which if erected at the permanent site  will surely give the Proposed College the desired approval.
Mr. Uji said: “We have given them advice on the minimum standard requirements, the permanent site at Zaria road has the conducive environment for learning, and if they can fully develop it, that will be alright.”
The Seven man team has in it Professor Umar. T. Muhammad, Sam Ugwuoti, Uko I. Uko, Mrs. Lami Dutse, Musa Garba and Mary Bako from the NCCE headquarters Abuja, as well as Colleges of Education Dutse Jigawa state, and that of Katsina Ala in Beneu State respectively.
Registrar of the College Malam Ahmad Garba, who took the team round said the school management are satisfied with the level of inspection by the NCCE, further stressed that before the next inspection hopefully, in June 2015, facilities will be in place at the permanent site.
The School have for the past twenty years been offering diploma courses on higher Islamic Studies, in affiliation with Ahmafu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

 The inspection by the NCCE, had put hope for long the anticipated planned by (JIBWIS), to establish a full pledge tertiary institution, the registrar, further said.
