National Leadership Of BCO Advocates For Full Deregulation Of Petroleum In Nigeria

The National Coordinator for Buhari Campaign Organization, BCO , Hon Danladi Pasali has advocated for full deregulation of the Premium Motor Spirit(PMS) to the government urging  Federal Government of Nigeria  to encourage the private investors to come in and to  also build their own .

 

Pasali solicited that ,”We want investors to come in, just like the Dangote to allow private sector to  normalize  the market because when the private investors are involve it will force the price to come down to N60   per a litter .

 

 

He said ,with the recent outbreak of coronavirus ravaging the world , Nigeria should urgently introduce price control on food stuff as mean to tackle the  rising prices of food items in the  open market.

 

Pasali disclosed this  an interactive session held at his resident at Filing Boll ,Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state .

 

 

He stated that the rising price of foodstuffs in Nigeria during this period is consider as part of the major problem. we are now  seeing ,Mr president instructed the anchor borrowers and schools feeding to continue which is one of policy of the APC government fight poverty and  to encourage civil servants to go back to farm and that ideas has  yield positive result and we can’t import rice from Taiwan or any other country with the virus spreading across the world .

 

He said without the price control measure by the federal government so many vulnerable Nigerian are going to suffer  from object poverty where  the middle men are coming to  take advantage and  exploit them.

 

Hon Pasali explained that since the covid-19 which prompted the federal government of Nigeria to lockdown ,the President Muhammadu Buhari government has been proactive in taken measure in cushioning the effect of the disease .

 

According to him, when an Italian man who arrived this country ,he went through so many countries especially Dubai and Italy but nobody was able to discover him with the disease and Nigerian should thank God that God has been faithful to us to curtailed the spread of the disease here Nigeria.

 

He expressed optimism that the President is on right track  to ensure that Nigerian are not infected with the virus looking at the pandemic spreading and  ravaging developed countries .

 

Hon Danladi Pasali applauded how government in three most affected states of Lagos, Abuja’s and Ogun for the prompt response to  manage and  to curtail the wide spread of the virus .

 

However, he stated apart from others measure introduce to reduce movement of people ,the stay at home measure is yielding positive result and the government had  done credibly well by ordering the  payment of 5,000 stipend to the most vulnerable Nigerian residents in rural ,urban areas of the country.

 

He lauded the National Women leader of Buhari Campaign Organization ,BCO , to innovative ideas of cooking and supplying food feeding to residents in Lagos which is one of the palliative measure taken by the government to encourage them to remain committed to the order .

 

He noted that one of the major challenge affecting the price regulations in the country is that in every sector of the country there are the good and the bad who would always sabotage the effort of government in trying to better well-being of Nigerian.

 

Pasali pointed out that ,we witness total compliance to the order to reduce the pumps price of petroleum across the country but we still make an appeal to our marketers to ensure that they reduce their pump price in accordance with Mr President directive .
