The Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE) has recognized Princess Dr. Margaret Elayo, Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment, Solid Minerals, and Mining with an Award of Excellence.
The Chairman of NATE Nasarawa State branch, Engineer Abdulkareem Kasah, made the announcement during the award presentation held in her office on Wednesday.
During the presentation, Engineer Kasah applauded the Commissioner for her contributions to addressing environmental challenges across the State.
He explained that the merit for the award stemmed from her strong support for technological innovations and her dedicated efforts to improve the living standards of disadvantaged groups in Nasarawa State, distinguishing her among her colleagues.
He commended Princess Elayo for her unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes, urging her to continue her commendable work.
In her acceptance speech, Princess Margaret Elayo expressed her gratitude for the recognition and pledged to remain dedicated in justifying the confidence placed in her by Governor Sule.
