Nasarawa State Is On Auto Pilot, Gov Sule Has Done Nothing In 2 And Half Years-PDP Chairman

In spite of a series of calls by different political groups on Nasarawa state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to re-contest for governorship come 2023, Hon. Francis Orogu, the Nasarawa state Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party has described the incumbent administration of governor Abdullahi Sule as the worst since the return of democracy in 1999.
The opposition political party Chairman gave the hint during an interview with Journalists at the weekend.
Orogu opined that the State is operating on autopilot under the headship of Engineer Abdullahi Sule,he in addition confided that the people of Nasarawa state can attest to what he was saying.
The Chairman asserted that the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has performed creditably well in two years more than his successor, Abdullahi Sule.
He buttressed that everything was grounded to a halt, he also blame the Journalists in the state for being a toy in the hands of the government.
“Is not the issue of we the PDP are satisfied with the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule rather we don’t have those that would help us do our work of opposition”.
This criticism was coming at a time that a political group, Abdullahi Alhaji Sule (A. A Sule) Continuity Volunteers Group has passed a vote of confidence on the state governor, calling on him to re-contest in 2023.
The state coordinator of the group, Comrade Idris Abubakar Adamu described the governor as a salient achiever whose achievements remain indelible in the sands of the history of Nasarawa state.
He said the governor is an unbeatable candidate come to the 2023 election, affirming that Engineer Abdullahi Sule has all it takes to move the State to an enviable height, saying only continuity would save the state.
