Nasarawa State Emerges 1st Position In Science And Technology Contest In Turkey

Nasarawa state Contingent at Science and Technology competition has won first position in a Science and Technology competition held in Turkey.

 

Head of the contingent, Mr. Musa –Coach- Ali told universalreporter.ng that, “The youngsters that made Nigeria and the state proud, took first position in the junior category of engineering.

He said they winners are: Fairuza Alkasim and Angel Titus of Nasarawa Agricultural Development Project, (NADP) School, Project Quarters in Lafia, the state capital.”

 

According to him, the event was organized by OKSEF tagged: Science Energy and Engineering fair 2019 in Ismir City of Turkey, three states that represented Nigeria are Nasarawa, Imo and Ondo.

 

Musa Ali said, Ondo took second position, in senior Science category,he said that out of the sixty countries in attendance, four were from African they were Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Tunisia and South Africa.

 

Musa Ali buttressed that Nasarawa State contingent officials were sponsored by the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Alhaji Sule and they comprised of competitors Fairuza Alkasim and Angel Titus; Head Teacher of PTA NADP School, Lafia Mr Kefas Allu Engla, Musa -Coach- Ali, Project Designer.

Others are representative from ministry of Education,Ministry of Special Education, Mr. Iliya Abashi.
