Nasarawa Sponsors 200 Christian Pilgrims To 2020 Holyland

Nasarawa state governor, Abdullahi Sule has sponsored a total of 200 Christian pilgrims to the Holy land.

The Executive Secretary of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, David Ayiwa hinted at this in an interview with selected Journalists.

 

He said the 200 intending pilgrims are government-sponsored while scores are on individual sponsorship.

 

The executive Secretary averted that the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic affects the preparation for the holy voyage.

 

Ayiwa appreciated the state governor, Abdullahi Sule for his commitment to state matters, especially issues that have a direct bearing on the lives of the people.

 

He described Engr. Abdullahi Sule a humane governor with a quality leadership style.

Recalling that a Journalists two months after he assumed office reported that he diverted 75 percent of seats to family and friends

Ayiwa called on members of the fourth estate of the realm to be objective in reporting issues in the state instead of engaging in media hype.

 

The Executive Secretary said the governor is prompt to duty, while speaking over the political upheaval in Obi Local Government Council, Ayiwa urged politicians in the locality to play objective politics.
