Nasarawa PDP Governorship Candidate Donates Four Sharon To JNI/CAN

Nasarawa State governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. David Ombugadu , the Peoples Democratic Party has donated four buses to Jama’atu Nasrul Islam and the Christian Association of Nigeria.

 

The Director General Campaign of David Ombugadu, Yusuf Ayitogo who spoke on behalf of the candidate sues for peace and cooperation of all and sundry during and after 2019 election.

 

Ayitogo said the People’s Democratic Party is the only platform that would meet up to the yearning and aspirant of the people of Nasarawa state.

 

“We in Nasarawa state needed a politician with a vision to bring about a virile and positive change but not just a change”.

 

“Our governorship candidate sink boreholes cut across the length and breadth of the state; he also extended his olive branches to the health sector “he added.

 

Chairman of the party, Hon. Francis Orogu, who presented the vehicles to the leadership of the two organizations, asserted that the action was geared towards preaching peace to the people of the state.

 

He stressed the need for peaceful co-existence amongst religious followers for peace to reign , saying all the religion harps on peace

 

Orogu warned politicians to desist from playing divisive religious politics that would not augur well for the development of the state.

 

He called on politicians to consider the interest of the people and the state above individual interest.

 

Bishop Joseph Masin, the State chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria applauded the candidate for the gesture.

 

According, to him he called on other politicians to emulate Hon David Ombugadu.

 

The Emir of Lafia , Alhaji Mustapha Agwai I , who is the state JNI chairman , represented by the Madakin -Lafia Alhaji Ishaku Dauda thanked Ombugadu for the donation.

 

 

The religious leaders assured that the vehicles would go a long way towards propagating the gospel of peace in the state.

 

He urged politicians to ensure that their campaigns were issued – based and devoid of character assassination so as not to overheat the polity ahead of the 2019 general elections.
