Nasarawa PDP Deserts Party Secretariat, Hires Hotel To Avoid Rumpus In Ward Congress
Yam sellers along Jos in the capital of Nasarawa State has taken over the State Secretariat of the People’s Democratic Party, the PDP, The conduct of the ward Congress during the weekend can attest to the unresolved internal lacuna in the party.
The chairman of the congress committee, Senator Abba Moro during an exclusive interview opined that the conduct of the ward Congress at De First Crown Hotel was for the best interest of party supporters.
Senator Moro hinted that the situation was calm and good with the meeting held with critical stakeholders from both sides.
He averted that delegates are expected to go to their various wards for consensus or otherwise.
“They should go to their wards to harmonize all processes either through consensus and if it fails the would go on competitive election”.
He promised to do his best according to the directive of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party.
“Delegates should be allowed to choose their leaders and party members must carry everybody along”.
The committee chairman attested that things must be corrected this time around not minding whose face.
