The Nasarawa state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, LAWAL Bashir Kano said no fewer than 400 personnel of the NSCDC were trained for handling firearms.
The commandant hinted this during a second quarter briefing, he said the already trained 200 are in the field, adding that a set of another 200 are presently undergoing rigorous training.
Kano opined that the 200 would be put to test against any eventuality; he however affirmed that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps are at red alert to prevent public utilities from vandalization.
LAWAL Bashir Kano confided that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps is committed to safeguard public buildings from men of the underworld.
