Lawal Bashir Kano, the Nasarawa state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps has uncovered that money to the tune of N66m was recovered from employment racketeers in the state.
Bashir stated this during a second quarter of the year briefing, he buttressed that a whooping N36m was returned to the owners, he maintained that the command handle over 300 cases.
The commandant asserted that the over three hundred cases range from vandalizing, child trafficking, Destruction of public utilities ranging from electric transformers, safeguarding public building.
He said about 160 cases were resolved, five persons were prosecuted, 1 handed over to Army,2 cases handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP).
