Barely three weeks after the endorsement of Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Engineér Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State by Miyetti Allah Kauta Horre, a Fulani leader and Chairman of Maliya Cattle market, Malam Saleh Manga has declared Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya of the New Nigeria Peoples Party as the next Governor of Nasarawa State.
Manga made his position known in a statement issued on Thursday in Karu, the gateway to the Federal Capital Territory, stating that Maidoya will floor incumbent Governor Abdullahi Sule who’s seeking reelection on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before 12 noon to emerge victorious.
He described Maidoya as the only candidate that has all it takes to change the fortunes of the State for good if elected in this year’s gubernatorial election.
He however called on supporters and party loyalists not to relent towards mobilizing voters across the State in order to guarantee landslide victory.
He also warned youths against being used for thuggery before, during and after the general elections.
