Nasarawa Lawmaker Distributes 33 Grinding Machines, 150 Bags Of Rice

The member House of Assembly representing Doma North constituency, Hon.Salihu Musa Iyimoga as part of his covenant to give succor to the people of his constituency has distributed 33 grinding machines worth thousands of Naira.

 

The Honorable member disclosed this during an exclusive interview with Journalists at his abode in Dadinkowa, Doma.

 

He said the 33 grinding machines were distributed to women with the  aim of cushioning the effect of poverty.

 

Iyimoga however while speaking in the area of Youth empowerment he asserted that he also distributed 5 Bajaj motorcycle to Youth marking his 100 days in office.

 

In the area of agriculture, the lawmaker further maintained that he assisted farmers with assorted fertilizer with the sole aimed of boosting productivity.

 

In the area of education, the Honorable member revealed that he distributed 5000 exercise books to primary school pupils as well chalk as part of his contribution to add value to education.

 

“I organized inter primary school quiz competition with an intention to catch them young

 

Hon.Iyimoga said he has taken a bold step to sponsor 5 orphans from primary to University with scholarship.

 

Other giant stride of the member elected under the auspices of Zenith Labour Party averred that effort to rehabilitate the wasted Doma Dam is on the pipeline.

 

According to him, “I requested for the rehabilitation of Doma Dam through the Director General of Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority (LBRBDA), Muhammed Addra.

 

While commenting on the flood disaster ravaging Doma, the headquarter of Doma, Hon. Salihu Musa Iyimoga appealed to Nasarawa State Government to take a stringent measure to tackle the menace of gully erosion before rainy season.

 

“We have a deal with a Non-Governmental Organization named “New Map” who will repair Abdulkarim Iyimoga Street”.

 

While fielding question on the need to revive inter Primary and Secondary schools competition.

 

Hon. Iyimoga called on youth in the State to join politics, urging them to remain focused at all times.

 

“Youth are not only leaders tomorrow but should see themselves as leaders of today to shun thuggery and cultism.
