Nasarawa Judicial Service Commission Suspend Chief Registrar, Deputy of High Court Over Financial Misappropriation

The Nasarawa State Judicial Service Commission irked over the unabated corruption going on in the High Court has suspended the Chief Registrar, Abdullahi Ahmed-Sani and Edward Ali-Liman, Deputy Chief Registrar Personnel of the Court over alleged misappropriation.

 

The suspension was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of JSC, Isa Ebini-Kana and made available to Journalists.

 

The suspension followed the decision of JSC  at the emergency meeting of the Commission on July 1st, 2021.The statement further revealed that the Commission deliberated on the complaint of misconduct written against the two officers.

 

The Executive Secretary said  the suspension of the two officials was to pave way for proper investigation of the recalcitrants without any interference.

 

The Chief Registrar of Customary Court of Appeal ,Esther Mami-Ejeh is to cover the duties of the Chief Registrar, High Court of Justice and the Deputy Chief Registrar of Magistrate Court Hadiza Abubakar is to cover the duties of the Deputy Chief Registrar Personnel.

 

The Executive Secretary called on the staff of High Court to dissociate themselves from the suspended staff, JSC  appealed to the general public not to indulge any business with the suspended officers pending.
