Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has directed all the thirteen Local Governments Chairmen and Overseers of Sixteen Development Areas to hand over to their respective Directors Personal Management.
The Governor during a valedictory session at Government House thanked the thirteen Local Government Chairmen and Overseers for the smooth cooperation.
Saying some of the elected officials may be considered for appointment as Transitional Management Committee Chairmen.
On the issue of official vehicle of Chairmen and Overseers, The Governor said all necessary steps to ensure decorum.
He explained that the State Government would follow lay down laws on what to do, He commended the Chairmen for remaining firm especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
The ALGON Chairman, Aminu Maifata while responding appreciate the Governor for accommodating them.
Maifata pleaded with the Governor to forgive them where they went wrong in the discharge of their duty.
