Comrade Habiba Umar Iliya has described the candidature of the immediate past Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government, Danlami Idris Odasko as three years of wasted mandate.

She disclosed this during the submission of nomination and expression of interest forms of a Chairmanship aspirant, Barrister Iliya Ibn Umar to the State headquarter of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Shortly after the submission of forms explained that the people of Nasarawa Eggon are in dire need of a humble, courageous and trustworthy person to man the affairs of the backward Local Government.

Under the reign of the former Chairman, there was no single development ranging from a rural road, water project, and other projects that have a direct bearing on the lives of the people of Nasarawa Eggon.

“Idris Odasko Is always in Kaduna even during working days, with this kind of person as Local Government Council Chairman what do you expect from him”.

Habiba said the immediate past Council Chairman is the most traveled Council Chairman in the history of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government.

She disclosed that the inability and ineptitude of Hon. Danlami to be in office in the last three years is two steps backward.

Saying any attempt to return him to the office by October 6, 2021, would be another three years of wasted mandate.

Calling on stakeholders of Nasarawa Eggon to have a rethink by presenting a virile, committed, and purposeful Chairman in the person of Barrister Iliya ibn Umar.

She stated that his blueprint includes poverty alleviation, security, provision of rural roads, and water project to ease the acute shortage of water in Nasarawa Eggon.

Habiba Umar Iliya described Barrister Iliya as a person of proven integrity with a wealth of experience and exposure to lead the Local Government to the promised land.
