The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has slated March 10th, 2021 for the passage into law a Bill for a Law to Establish the Nasarawa State Drugs and Supplies Management Agency and for Other Matters Connected Therewith.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi slated the date after Hon Tanko Tunga ( APC- Awe North) , the Majoirty Leader of the House moved a motion for the adoption of the report of the House Standing Committee on Health on the bill which was seconded by Hon Danladi Jatau ( PDP- Kokona West) , the Minority Leader of the House during the House Proceedings in Lafia today.
Balarabe Abdullahi said that the bill if passed into law was to select, quantify, source, procure, supply and distribute drugs for improved health care service delivery in the state.
” I will slates 10th of March, 2021 for the third reading of a bill for a Law to Establish the Nasarawa State Drugs and Supplies Management Agency and for Other Matters Connected Therewith ,” he said.
The speaker also said that the bill if passed would improve on the health status of the people of the state.
He appreciated members for given the bill adequate attention towards improving on the health being of the people of the state.
