Nasarawa APGA Accuses INEC Of Rigging In Favor Of APC In Last 2015 Election

A frontline politician in Nasarawa state ahead of 2019 general election has called on opposition party in the state, the All Progressive Grand Alliance not only to turn in mass but to protect their votes from polling units to collection centres.

Speaking at his abode during this year New Year celebration at Nasarawa Eggon local government of Nasarawa state.

Labaran Maku accused the Independent National Electoral Commission of rigging 2015 election in favor of the All Progressives Congress.

Blaming the electoral umpire of aligning with APC in the last election that ushered in the new crop of politicians, he in addition says the days for rigging are over as electorate are aware of the evil plan to rig election in the state.

“INEC compromised in 2015 election by handing over our legitimate mandate to the APC.

Maku stated that 2015 governorship election was mar by rigging and Injustice, calling on all political parties to borrow a leaf from APGA campaign strategy which he said was devoid of acrimony.

“Nobody’s ambition worth one’s life “calling on youth to shun drug addiction “.

Urging on politicians to focus on politics of ideas that would move the state forward but not to involved in campaign of calumny.

The former minister congratulate the press for theirs sacrifice by keeping democracy alive.

He says the service rendered by Journalists is a service to the nation, calling on the press in spite of the risked involved in the profession to remain steadfast in the discharge of their responsible.

“I know the trepidation and plight of Journalists in Nigeria,some are working without salary but still you unbended in promoting democracy.

“I know the way we made those days while struggling to follow molue in Lagos, I appreciate you all.
