Nasarawa APC Secretary To Sponsor Two Children Of Late Chairman Of Baraya Vanguard

The pronouncement made by the State Secretary of ruling All Progressives Congress  Nasarawa state, Aliyu Bello to sponsor two children of late State Chairman of Baraya Vanguard from Secondary school to University was welcomed by family members and friends of Late Musa Mohammed Akwe.

 

Before his demise on Saturday, he was the state Chairman of a group at the forefront of campaigning for Nasarawa state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule in 2019.

 

Aliyu Bello made the pronouncement shortly after the three days prayer at the family compound at Sabon Gari ward of Doma Local Government Council.

 

The state Secretary of the party explained that his foundation, Aliyu Bello Educational Foundation which caters to orphans and widows would foot the bills of the most senior among the six children from Secondary school to University level.

 

He further explained that his foundation would extend the gesture by catering for their other needs, calling on order party men and women to extend their benevolence to the family of late Musa Mohammed Akwe.

 

Aliyu Bello described Musa Akwe as a committed party man who was amongst the few that stand firm to ensure the success of the party in the 2019 general election.

 

Mal. Hassan, who responded on behave of the family thanked Aliyu Bello for the shower of his olive branch to the children of late Musa Mohammed Akwe.

 

He also prayed to God to open the windows of opportunities for the hands that giveth.

 

It would be recalled that some months after the brutal killings of the state Chairman of the party in the state, Philip Tatari Shekwor no cogent help came from the state Government if not the employment of the member of the thaagaawe family as a casual staff in Primary Health Care.

 

It was learned that the family a few weeks after his demise were given N3m, An insider insisted that supporting family members with a juicy and pensionable appointment would encourage other party faithful to do more.

 

It was gathered that the state Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule donated the sum of N200,000 to the family members.

 

Late Musa Akwe was the former Councillor representing Sabon Gari ward in Doma Local Government during the reign of late Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, He was elected under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party.

 

Musa was amongst the chairmanship contests in Doma, He left behind a wife and six children.
