Nasarawa ADP Slams Governor Al-Makura Over Cargo Airport

A chieftain of Action Democrátic Party in Nasarawa State slammed Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura’s ongoing airport Project as a wasted venture.

The representative of the national chairman, Joseph Odunye hinted this in an interview with selected Journalists at the party state headquater in Lafia during the handing over of flag to Party Chairmen of their various local governments.

Odunye called on the state governor to reconsider the plight of the masses by embarking on projects that has direct bearing on the lives of the populace.

Joseph Odunye expressed displeasure over the unabated percentage payment paid to civil servants under Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.

Stressing that workers are surviving through God’s intervention, urging Al-Makura to beam his searchlight on the payment of full salary.

Stating that ardent attention should be accorded to Human development.

“Develop Human capital and allow them to develop themselves”

Those that defected from the ruling Party, the All Progressives Congress to include

3.Abdullahi Zaza

4.Iliya Usman

5.Allu Sabo

7.Kabiru Ibrahim and amongst others.

The spokesperson of the decampees,Yahuza Kasimu Igga in an interview confided that majority of them work for the APC during campaign but were sidelined after victory.

“We are over 50 but only 10 of us are here representing other youths”.
