The first Female Secretary to Nasarawa State Government during the reign of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed has appealed to the menfolk to give women a chance to Govern the State come 2027.
A one-time Permanent Secretary of, the Ministry of Education said women in Nasarawa State deserved a better place in the scheme of things.
Appealing to men to consider the place of women in society, saying no society can thrive without the sole contributions of the opposite sex.

In a related development, The Vice Chancellor of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi Prof Sa’adatu Hassan Liman said quality education will break stereotypes and systemic Inequality amongst women.
The Vic Chancellor described education as a panacea to sharpening society through holistic intellectual that will enhance and promote peace amongst the citizenry at all times.
She further disclosed that education is a means to create future hope for the less privileged.
Prof Sa’adatu Hassan Liman appreciates Governor Abdullahi Sule for his unwavering commitment to supplying learning materials and establishing additional school faculties.
Prof Sa’adatu called on parents to always attach topmost priority to the education of their children “.

She gave Aliyu Bello a path on the back as she gave the assurance that NSUK will continue from where the former headship cooperates with the institution.

The Coordinator Aliyu Bello Charity Foundation, Baban Soro Dalhatu in his speech said 151 benefited from N20,000 each from either College of Health, Science and Technology, Lafia, College of Nursing Science, Lafia and Sidi Bage College of Health And Technology, Lafia.
He in addition averred that 300 benefited from the free National Examination Council and 800 for free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.
The State Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule commended the State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Aliyu Bello for investing in humanity.
Calling on well-to-do in the society to accord premise to the education sector, The Governor who was represented by the State Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Abubakar Zanwa described Aliyu Bello as a dedicated fellow who is given back to the society.
Urging those in positions to inculcate Aliyu Bello, He further disclosed that the State Government has accorded 26 percent of the 2019 budget to the education sector to date.
The Commissioner also revealed that the State Government is prompt in the payment of her counterpart funds from 2019 to date to the Universal Basic Education Commission as when due.
