My Father Saw Musicians As Irresponsible People-Upcoming Jos-Based Musician, Tersoo Stephen

A Benue State-born gifted artist, Mr. Tersoo John Stephen has disclosed what he wants his ambition in music to be in five years to come, speaking he said; “I want to be recognized by local and international televisions for the talents God gave me in music.

My father was always seeing many musicians as irresponsible people but those around him keep encouraging him to believe in my career.

Tersoo appealed to meaningful Nigerians to come and support his career because lack of finance is seriously affecting him, he said; “I’m the type that doesn’t really brag and I don’t show up.

He maintained that he has challenges with funding that ought to enable him to release his first album.

Tersoo said early in his life I love listening to music a lot sometimes even when my mum sent me to deliver a message, I will forget that message completely because my attention is focused more on my musical career.

According to him, he completed his Senior Secondary School Education in 2006, at St Murumba college where he developed his love for music and the entertainment industry.

After my SSCE, I secured admission to study at the University of Jos, where I obtained a Diploma in Mass Communication and proceeded with the same course, presently in I’m in my 300 level at the same University of Jos.

As an artist, I enjoy R&B, country music, soul, and others, but he explained further that he lost both his two parents in his early life ,”My mum hailed from Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State , Amo by tribe in Jingre .

“We were born and brought up here in Plateau state, I can’t speak my native language but I speak more of Amo tribe fluently.

Tersoo John Steven hailed from Goma Local Government Area of Benue State says, “I started my musical career right from my childhood and before 2005/2006 I started playing Guitar in 2010 after my diploma education in the university.

“I have a lot to offer in the industry with the talent God gave, “I promise to rule the world because I believe that one day I shall be on every household’s screen to entertain them.

Tersoo John noted that he believes sometimes help would come from God because he gave him this talent to assist another upcoming artist.

He calls on artists to always be themselves and original.

Tersoo John said, he doesn’t drink anything alcoholic or womanize and he remains natural because his inspiration comes from God Almighty.
