His Royal Highness and the Custodian of Doma tradition, The Andoma of Doma, Ahmadu Aliyu Oga says Doma traditional Institution will continue to accord recognition to its sons and daughters who contribute to human and societal development.
The Andoma stated this when Dr.Faisal Shua’ib, The Executive Secretary of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency led a delegation to appreciate him for honouring his wife, Hajiya Munirat Hussaini Abdullahi in Doma, The headquarters of Doma Local Government
Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga said Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi was conferred with the traditional title of Jaruman Doma due to her exemplary quality which was beneficial to Doma community and the entire State.
The traditional ruler, and the Secretary, Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs said her immense contributions as a politician makes her a shining example for other women to copy.
He noted that bestowing the traditional title of Jaruman Doma on Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi followed her antecedents in service to the State setting pace for others to emulate.
The Executive Secretary National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Faisal Shua’ib on his part expressed delight for the honour accord his wife, urging husbands to always encourage their wives to be agents of change towards impacting positively the lives of people around them and the community they lived.
Appreciating the Andoma of Doma and the people of Doma for the unflinching support accorded her, She however expressed optimism for finding her worthy of the position of Jaruman Doma.
Hajiya Munirat Hussaini Abdullahi pointed out that such will spur her to do more for her people.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Non-Governmental Organizations and Development Partners advised women to always follow the part of impacting positively on the people around them and the community especially the less privileged and the vulnerable
