Muslims celebrate Sallah amid tight security in Bauchi

This year’s Eid El Kabir sallah celebration was observed peacefully under tight security in Bauchi State. This may not be unconnected with the absence of the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu who is in Saudi Arabia.

As early as 7 o’clock on Thursday morning Muslims ummah started trooping to different places of worship, that witnessed huge security presence in all mosques and major streets in Bauchi metropolis just to ensure total protection of lives and property in the state.

At the Bauchi Central mosque where the two raka’at prayer was observed instead of the Eid El praying ground due to early rainfall, the chief imam, Alhaji Bala Muhammad Baban inna called on Muslims ummah to always have fear of Allah in their daily affairs.

He charged the entire Muslims to always live in peace with one another as well as assist the less privileged ones to have a sense of belonging in the society.

“We should always have fear of Allah in discharging our daily duties as the only way to ensure just and truth especially among our leaders as whatever has the beginning also has an end” he said.

Alhaji Bala Baban inna warned people to work with truthfulness as their watchdog that will promote justice, peace and progress in every society as well as promote development.

At the Gwallaga Juma’at mosque, the chief imam, ustaz imam idris advised people to have absolute fear of Allah in whatever they are doing and to adhere to the teaching of the month of Zhullhajj especially in the area of sacrifice
