Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo: An Epitome  of Modern Democracy

Wise men buttress that a good name is better than silver and gold, this adage entails the dynamic and purposeful leadership quality of Rt. Honorable Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, The senator-elect Nasarawa South.

His landslide victory at the March 15 Presidential and National Assembly election is a trajectory that Onawo is a politician to the core who instead of giving fish to the teeming youth in his constituency taught them how to catch fish.

The employment scheme of the former member Federal House of Representatives representing Awe/Doma/Keana Federal constituency is in fulfillment of his campaign promises to reality.

For the purpose of record over forty-eight youths mostly graduates benefited from his employment scheme, Mohammed Ali Leader, leader of the employed youth by Hon Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo during a grand reception organized in his honored at Government Secondary School Doma described Onawo as an enigma, an emancipator in all ramifications.

The employment scheme of Onawo was on the right footing and timely as it has come a long way in reducing the rising spate of unemployment amongst the youth.

It was a fanfare galore as the venue of the occasion witnessed a mammoth crowd with the presence of creme de’ creme across the length and breadth of the senatorial zone, the employment scheme has also come a long way in reducing joblessness and unleashing the unemployed youth from the shackles of unemployment and labour market as the wise man said an ideal mind is the devil’s workshop.

No doubt, the former member House of Representatives and now Senator Nasarawa South cannot be comparable to his contemporaries who are not heard nor seen in the green chamber,

Onawo has set up a standard for others to emulate him, this effort also made him stand tall among his contemporaries and the history of his commitment would remain in the anal of history of his quality representation will continue to remain fresh in the minds of the people, especially the beneficiaries.

Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo in one of the interviews sometimes ago says, there are more opportunities in the Senate than in the House of Representatives in all ramifications, giving the assurance that he will extend his hands of fellowship to those that brought him to power.

Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo is a politician that always marched words with action in the delivery of dividend of democracy, Hon Onawo is a politician who lives by practical experience, Hon Onawo is a starting point because he launched a roadmap that can serve as a basis for a comprehensive assessment for a better tomorrow.
