The Moekwo Youth Development Movement of Quaanpan Local Government Area of Plateau State is making a passionate appeal to the Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong to Fastrack the process of the installation of the Long Kwo of Kwo Chiefdom in Quaan Pan Local Government Area.
This was made known to our medium by the National President of the Youth Movement, Livinus Adi on Saturday in a press statement in Jos.
Adi disclosed that the installation of the Long Kwo will foster peaceful coexistence and development amongst the natives and would promote harmony in the area.
He stated this while commending the Rescue Administration of Governor Simon Lalong for giving prompt attention to the traditional institution, urged him to give the Long Kwo the attention it deserves.
He lamented that the people have been without their paramount ruler for over three decades since the demise of Long Kwo Hoomkwap Sule, a development which has impacted negatively on the socio economic development of the area.
While appealing to youths in the area to embrace peaceful coexistence, the National President of the Association urged them to give the Rescue Administration of Governor Simon Lalong their unflinching support to enable it to succeed.
Adi equally called on all major stakeholders in the area to close ranks and put their differences aside in order to ensure the overall development of the Chiefdom.
