Mobile Police Commander Shot Dead By A Police Corporal In Bauchi By Masoyi Lusa, Bauchi
The Bauchi State Police Command said, it has arrested one serving corporal name withheld for shooting to death SP Christ Eza the Commanding Officer Mopol 10 Bauchi.
The sad incident according to press statement made available to newsmen by DSP Mohammed Haruna the command PPRO occurred when the deceased was on routine Visit at the stop and search point along Ahmadu Bello way, Bauchi.
Haruna added that the Victim was immediately rushed to ATBU Teaching Hospital Bauchi where he was certified dead by a Medical Doctor and his Corpse deposited at the Mortuary for post-mortem examination.
This development the command stress prompted the Bauchi Commissioner of Police Mohammed K Mohammed and his management team to visit the scene
Meanwhile, the suspect was arrested and detained while the Commissioner of Police has ordered for a full scale investigation into the matter.
