The Middle Belt Christian Assembly (MBCA), has shared faith and commitment to promoting unity, peace, and development in the Middle Belt region, do hereby establish this Constitution as the foundation for our organization.
Evang. Dr. Ringsum Joshua the Secretary, Evang. Obadiah Diji,the Chairman spoke to this medium in Jos while explaining the blueprint for forming the association.
The Middle Belt Christian Assembly,a foremost christian group in the North Central also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment towards the growth and development of the north central region through the establishment of the north central development commission (NCDC).
Reacting to the establishment of the North Central Development Commission the Middle Belt Christian Assembly, Evang. Dr. Ringsum Joshua, Secretary, Evang. Obadiah Diji Chairman, expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment towards the development of the grassroots in the north central region.
The Secretary stated that “through the establishment of the North Central Development Commission, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ensured equity, fairness and justice in the developmental process of his administration. The bill will ensure accelerated development of the region”
There have been calls on the president to sign the bill establishing the north central commission into law. The law seeks to strengthen the economy and infrastructural development of the geopolitical zone.
It is expected that the President will send a supplementary budget to the National Assembly in order to capture the newly created North–Central Development Commission, NCDC, in the 2025 budget.
The statement hailed President Bola Tinubu for signing the bill creating the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, had on Tuesday during plenary announced that President Tinubu assented to the North Central Development Commission Bill, 2024.
The bill seeks to strengthen the economy and infrastructural development of the North-central geopolitical zone.
Hon. Umar, who sponsored the bill at the House of Representatives, had recommended Lafia for the siting of the commission’s Headquarters.
The group described the president’s assent to the bill as a welcome development in view of the expected strategic role in developing the region in particular and Nigeria in general.

We, the members of the Middle Belt Christian Assembly, in recognition of our shared faith and commitment to promoting unity, peace, and development in the Middle Belt region, do hereby establish this Constitution as the foundation for our organization.
1.1 The name of this organization shall be the Middle Belt Christian Assembly (MBCA).
1.2 The objectives of the MBCA shall be:
– To promote unity and cooperation among Christian denominations and organizations in the Middle Belt region.
– To foster peace, understanding, and reconciliation among people of different faiths and ethnic backgrounds.
– To advocate for the rights and interests of Christian communities in the Middle Belt region.
– To promote socio-economic development and empowerment of Christian communities in the Middle Belt region.
2.1 Membership in the MBCA shall be open to Christian denominations, organizations, and individuals who share the objectives of the organization.
2.2 Membership categories shall include:
– Full members: Christian denominations and organizations that meet the membership criteria.
– Associate members: Christian organizations and individuals who support the objectives of the MBCA but do not meet the full membership criteria.
– Honorary members: Individuals who have made significant contributions to the MBCA or the Christian community in the Middle Belt region.
3.1 The MBCA shall have the following governance structure:
– General Assembly: The highest decision-making body of the MBCA, comprising representatives of full member organizations.
– Executive Committee: A committee responsible for implementing decisions of the General Assembly and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the MBCA.
– Board of Trustees: A board responsible for providing oversight and guidance to the MBCA.
4.1 The MBCA shall have the following officers:
– President: The chief executive officer of the MBCA, responsible for providing leadership and direction.
– Vice-President: The deputy to the President, responsible for supporting the President and assuming responsibilities in their absence.
– Secretary-General: The chief administrative officer of the MBCA, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations.
– Treasurer: The chief financial officer of the MBCA, responsible for managing the finances.
5.1 The MBCA shall be funded through:
– Membership fees and dues.
– Donations and grants from individuals and organizations.
– Fundraising events and activities.
5.2 The MBCA shall maintain transparent and accountable financial management practices.
6.1 This Constitution may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the General Assembly.
6.2 Proposed amendments shall be circulated to members at least 30 days prior to the General Assembly meeting.
7.1 The MBCA shall establish a dispute resolution mechanism to resolve conflicts and disputes arising within the organization.
7.2 The dispute resolution mechanism shall be based on biblical principles of reconciliation and mediation.
8.1 The MBCA may be dissolved by a two-thirds majority vote of the General Assembly.
8.2 In the event of dissolution, the assets of the MBCA shall be transferred to a charitable organization with similar objectives.

The MBCA is a cultural fussed on christianity in Nigeria middle belt region. We are promoting unity and solidarity.
Middle Belt leader, retired General Theophilus Danjuma has exploded over a recent news making round, alleging a sinister plans to remove the Middle Belt Forum (MBF) President from office in January 2025 by some members yet to be identified.
There were sweeping allegations of financial misconduct against the MBF President, Comrade Bitrus Pogu, by some purported member of the Forum, who alleged that N2 billion was given to him by General TY Danjuma (rtd) for the Forum’s activities.
