Maku Gave Hard Verdict On Nasarawa @20th, Says; “All The Structures We Handed Over Including The House Of Assembly Have Virtually Collapse.”

The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance in the 2015 election, Labaran Maku in his twentieth year anniversary of Nasarawa state has regretted that all the structures they handed over from 1999 to 2007 has virtually collapse.

Maku regretted that they left a functional institutions been in the team that laid the foundation of development in the state from 1999 to 2007,the erstwhile Minister of Information and Deputy governor of the state says the state has witness the worst administration under Governor Tanko Al-Makura since its creation on October 1st 1996.

He explained that the level of killings and destructions of lives and properties under the present government in the state is unprecedented, as he accuse the present government of sponsoring religious and ethnic crisis for selfish and political gains.

“From 2011 to date, institution like House of Assembly is virtually death while ministries are in total disarray”governance have virtually collapse, governance turn outside down, and democracy move away from the people to one man show.

He said “the dawned verdict of Nasarawa at twenty does not call for celebration of the state, the former Deputy governor in the state explained that he refuse to participate in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the state because he cannot observe parade from the school children whose future has been jeopardize.

“As we speak, our school children did not write exams last year, teachers were on strike up till this year, salaries are not paid and government and the House of Assembly members are not saying anything, so it is inconceivable”.

Responding to Maku’s statement, Secretary of the All Progressives Change, APC in the State, Aliyu Bello who spoke to universalreporters247.comon phone, said Maku should bury his head in shame, throughout their time, he didn’t leave any single structure, he said which structure is Maku talking about, according to him he said even ordinary traffic light, Maku during their time never set up.

According to him, he said Al-Makura has taken the state to another level, with Asphalt roads constructed in all the local governments, with modern Markets, Hospitals, as well as other social amenities.
