Lt General Useni(Rtd) Remains Elder Statesman, No One Is Fighting In Tarok Land -Hon Ubandoma Laven

The Executive Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council, Hon Joshua Ubandoma Laven has charged politicians to eschew politics of bitterness and rancor, saying Lt General Jeremiah Timbut Useni remain the elder statesman and Hon Beni Lar is not at loggerheads with Useni .
Ubandoma Laven made this disclosure in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Jos while responding to petition about wards chairmen sworn-in recently. He said the wards Congresses held in Langtang North LGA was all affirmation and that there wasn’t election, we are working together what happened was internal politics which is part of politicking
Laven stressed that as the chairman of the council, I try to accommodate everybody to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst the Tarok people.
“I can’t divide my own people of politics ,we work for Useni to become the senator and during the last gubernatorial election we overwhelmingly supported him so why should some jobless people be going about trying to disrupt our peace”, he said .
He stated that there is no crisis in PDP and Hon Beni and Useni are haven issue, we spoke with Useni on phone over the wards Congress and explain to him in details what transpired after the Congress.
Ubandoma Charged the Tarok Nation to focus more on covid-19 pandemic which is now ravaging the whole world .He urged them observe social distances by maintaining personal hygiene of wearing masks ,hand washing ,avoid public gathering and to report any suspected sickness connecting to symptoms of the disease.
He explained further politicians should embrace failure, adding that “we have individual’s choice of candidate in election so our opinions are different so we shouldn’t allow jobless politician to infiltrate our society.”
He maintained that Tarok people are known for their peaceful disposition so anybody who is anti-peace won’t be happy with the tremendous development going on in Langtang North LGA.
Joshua Ubandoma challenged Tarok Sons and Daughters to use their energy towards promoting and developing the land for better service delivery to our people rather than promoting politics blackmail and hatred.
He confirmed to clear some issues whether Useni son, Ponfa was responsible for causing political loggerhead between his Father’s and Hon Beni Lar ,Laven said “we never had problem ,we met with ponfa sometimes in December ,so I don’t think we have anything against each other.”
Laven reiterated that “we should play politics devoid of bitterness, and politics is to be enjoyed and politician should see it as no winner and no loser, we should learn to carry people alone.”
He employed politician to play politics in accordance with the tenets of democracy dividends not to cause division amongst the citizens.
Hon Joshua Ubandoma said he provided security to PDP wards swearing ceremony although I wasn’t there in person to witness the exercise because as the chief security officer, I ensure peace reign.
