Lee Groups Donate 200,000 Face masks To Jigawa Govt

Lee Group of Company has donated 200,000 of facemasks to Jigawa State in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health.

 

One of the senior directors of the Lee Group, Alhaji Haruna Ahmadu Zago who represented the company said the company is among the leading companies in the country who is helping in the fight against COVID-19 saying his company has distributed facemasks to states of Ogun, Edo, Kano, Jigawa, Lagos, and Rivers State.

 

In his speech, Governor Badaru commended the company officials towards their commitment to fighting the Coronavirus in the State, as he added that facemasks will be distributed to nurses and doctors working in all the hospitals across the State.

 

He commended the company over their effort to actualize the existence of a Sugar factory in the State, as he said saying that that it has changed the lives of many people living in the area as it has given jobs to many jobless persons.

 

Badaru said if someone visits the Sugarcane farm sited in Gagarawa local government, “you might think you in the outside country somewhere around Asia or Europe due to the beautiful nature of the area.

 

Badaru also sends his gratitude to the management of the company for contributing toward the development of Jigawa state.

 

Badaru said the type of facemasks given to Jigawa State by Lee group of Company is difficult to get even in the market because of its quality.

 

He there charged the persons in charge of the Shuwarin market to abide by the rules and regulations given by the state government.
