Jigawa PDP Inaugurates Local Govt Caretaker Committee

The Jigawa State People Democratic Party (PDP) caretaker committee last week inaugurated caretaker committees to handle the party affairs in all 27 local government areas of the state.

 

Addressing newsmen shortly after the inauguration, the state Party caretaker committee chairman Alhaji Umar Mungyabi said, the committee was established in line with party constitution to bring solution and justice to all members of the party in the state.

 

He said, the state committee had already selected five people in each of the 27 local Government areas of the state, as he added that it is part of the strategy to ensure all things are done in a good way to follow due process for electing party leaders and the grassroots politicians.

 

The caretaker said PDP is a party built on the principle of democracy and human development and it always providing equal opportunity for every party member and any Nigerian that is willing to join the party.

 

He said the state caretaker committee work cannot be completed without effort and inputs of the local government caretaker committees; he, therefore, sought their support and cooperation to meet their desired objectives.

 

Alhaji Umar charged the committees to work in line with the party’s constitution and ensure they carry all party members along with no nepotism or showing any difference.

 

“You are also expected to work hard to settle all disputes and differences in the party living no aggrieved party member behind” Umar charged the committees.

 

The chairman, therefore, called on all members to work hard to strengthened the party by ensuring the party maintain its history, adding that by doing so the party will regain its victory in the next coming general election of 2023

 

The chairman charged the entire party local government chairmen heading the committee to immediately inaugurate the members of their committee at their domain to work effectively.

 

He added that the PDP in Jigawa state has no factions as it is solid and remained one family.
