League Of Veteran Journalists Calls On Government Set Template On Whistle Blowing

The Plateau State League of Veteran Journalists, Dr Gideon Barde has called on the federal government to adopt a template whereby Eighty percent of money realized through whistle blowing policy and corrupt politicians are channeled into agriculture education, tourism and revitalization of moribund but viable industries throughout Nigeria.

This was contained  in a press statement made available to media in Jos.

According to the league chairman if properly implemented, will reduce strikes, protests youth unemployment and poverty, so as to take the country out of the financial recession and economic quagmire the nation is passing through.

Batde disclosed, the statement jointly issued and signed in Jos today ,by the state chairman who applauded the bold steps adopted by plateau state Governor to revolutionize agriculture, tourism and ailing industries throughout the nooks and crannies of the state.

He expressed happiness following the enthusiasm of youths, farmers and adults participation during the recently concluded agricultural summit and the cultural carnival initiated by Governor Lalong administration to employ restive youth and appealed to federal government to come to the of state.

Dr Gideon said, on the recent action ,by president Muhammadu to suspend in secretary to the government of the federation Mr Babachir David Lawal and the Director General ,National Intelligence Agency was highly commendable but advised the president to beam searchlight .

He further in order to flush out all the cabals under his administration as the league believe more revelation are coming out soon after the exist of the two kingpins.
