Latep Can’t Step Down Now As Chairman Of Party, Musan-Sati Plateau APC Secretary Tells Party Supporters

The Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Plateau State Chapter, Barr Bashir Musan-Sati has said, those alleging that the State chairman of the party is planning to step down is an infringement of their personal imagination.
Speaking to our medium at his resident opposite the Jos North Local Government Area Secretariat, Bashir said Letep Dabang has always advised the government and the Lalong government is doing credibly well.
He said, the assertion that Letep is resigning from the party is not true, he has nursed the party from grass to grace so he is not under pressure that can force him to stepdown because up to now their tenure hasn’t expired.
According to him, this is an imagination of that person, nobody is nursing that plan of quoting the party so by the grace of God we were able to discharge our function effectively as party men.
He maintained that the Chairman didn’t rule out any aspirants, he only acknowledged few three aspirants who might have return back their nomination forms as the time he speaks to journalists.
Musan-Sati stressed that the APC on the Plateau had five aspirants who pick their nomination forms and the only time they know some aspirants are when they have returned back their nomination forms to the party.
He pointed out that from last Monday to yesterday when the period for returning of forms elapse his form was collected after penalty fees were paid.
Bashir said, APC is fully prepared to clinch the bye-election of Plateau Southern senatorial seat, as a party we are waiting to conduct primaries and come out of it we don’t have any challenges.
He added, that in Plateau State they don’t have a problem because all the aspirants obtain their nomination forms in Abuja, and the screening also there including appeal so our stress here is to ensure peaceful exercise.
The delegates are coming from Abuja we don’t have the influence to impose any aspirant choice they come and conduct primaries and go back and then listen to all their complaint right there in Abuja he speaks.
Bashir Musan-Sati explained further that the APC on plateau state will soon embark on meeting the people tour to mobilize and canvas for their vote.
He frowned at publication credited to Dr. Christopher Piwuna asking the governor to resign for incompetence as he said that whoever is saying that is entitled to his own opinion because the 1999 constitution as amended gave freedom of expression and right to investigate the performance of government.
However, Musan-Sati said the Lalong government had performed very well in the area of security and physical infrastructural development which is taken into consideration.
We have inherited a backlog of salary were civil servants were not paid and paying salary including embarking on physical development, this government has done enough.
