Late Hon. Haruna Maitala Children Continues Father’s Legacy Empower 400 Women, Youth In Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency

The Children of Late. Hon Haruna Maitala has embarked on phase 2 programs of empowerment of Jos North /Bassa Federal Constituency legacy project of touching the lives of women and the youth with the following items,75 sewing machines, 65 Motorcycles,65 grinding machines ..

The program which is tagged is a legacy project of the late Hon. Haruna Maitala empowerment program 2022, held at Angwan Zinariya Layout behind Sharna Hotel, Jos North Local Government Area, LGA, of Plateau State on Saturday for the beneficiaries in two LGAs.

Late Hon. Haruna Maitala First Son, who is eyeing the seat of Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency, Alh Faisal Haruna declared his intention to vie for the seat by calling on the good people of two constituents to support his ambition for continuity of late father’s legacy project of touching the lives of vulnerable people including persons living with disabilities.

He said, “I have the women and youths captured in my constituency program if given the mandate. I promise to deliver on my campaign programs of empowerment of all the ethnic nationality residents in Jos North/Bassa.

Alh Faisal emphasized the need to promote peaceful coexistence in Jos North, Bassa LGA under the present security challenges facing the state.

According to him, I want you all to support me because my late father was a man of peace that ensure that both Muslims and Christians live together in harmony so the continuity of his projects will help reduce the scourge of poverty and unemployment affecting the country.

He explained further that apart from this empowerment today we have completed the renovation of classrooms, solar street lights within and outside the Jos North /Bassa in worship centers and market squares to boost the economic well-being of the state.

 Hajiya Halima Yahaya also expressed confidence in Faisal Haruna for not forgetting the legacy project of their late Hon Haruna Maitala which she described him as a man of peace and a gentleman par excellence.

She said, the Late Hon Haruna Maitala was a great politician who contributed to the development politics in Jos North, Bassa constituency is very much acceptable by all the faith, we see him as a rallying point for all without being biased.

Hajiya Yahaya admonishes the APC support to overwhelmingly support the candidature of Alh Faisal Haruna, as appreciated all the supporters to give him the platform to sell his own political leadership in the red chamber.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman Bassa Local Government Area, Hon Danjuma Chogo said he is very happy and sad at the same time reason being that the children of the late Hon Haruna Maitala have demonstrated commitment to building on the legacy project of their late father.

We appreciate them for the show of love and understanding even after the death of late Hon Haruna Maitala they still forge ahead to ensure that the legacy continues.

Alh Dabo Ahmed one of the beneficiaries of the sewing machine thanked the family of the late member for remembering them with what they can end a living with it.

Hon Michael Achigak applauded the gesture by appealing to support of late Hon Haruna Maitala to vote for the credibility of the late Hon Haruna Maitala son, Alh Faisal Haruna whose show concern in the affairs unity of oneness amongst all tribes and religion.
