At Last MaxAir Comes To Rescue Of Bauchi Pilgrims, As First Batch of Pilgrims Were Airlifted Today

Respite today finally come for Bauchi Pilgrims, as MaxAir Airline, today airlifted over 400 pilgrims, this medium learnt that this follows an agreement between the State Government and the Management of Max Air.

As learnt by this medium, the Pilgrims has been stranded since Sunday when they supposed to have been airlifted to kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj exercise, but has their hopes dashed when their supposed airline never showed up on Sunday as scheduled, owing to the non-payment of travel agent fees.

But hope finally came for the Pilgrims whose first batch were airlifted today to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this medium also learnt that the second batch will also be airlifted by 6pm today.

It would be recalled that, this medium yesterday carried a report that the Pilgrims were stranded at the Airport owing to non-payment of travel agent fees.

Some pilgrims who spoke under condition of anonymity, said even though, the airlifting has begun, said they are disenchanted the way and manner the State handled the issue, as they hinted that they are not happy over the whole scenario, even as the apportioned the delay in airlifting them to the State Government.
