Lalong Tasks Office Holders, LGs Chairmen To Deliver Dividends Of Democracy – Hon Gommam

An All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Nanbol Josiah Gommam have commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong for holding stakeholders meetings with office holders, party stalwarts, appointees, candidates, and Local Government Chairmen by tasking them on performance and commitment to the well-being of the citizens.

Speaking shortly after the close door meeting held in Rayfield , Gommam says, Lalong admonished them to focus more on delivering on the party campaign promises to the electorate in Jos.

He said, he warned chairmen to take the welfare of the local government workers with topmost priority because that is the only way to grantees the APC victory in the forthcoming general elections in 2023.

According to him, “we must work towards ensuring that Nigerian ripe the dividends of democracy with this performance, we are on the side of winning all the APC seats from State assembly, house of representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential”.

He stated that the closed-door meeting heaps more on dialogue and promotion of party ideology by Mr. Governor who stressing on party supremacy, tolerance, and people should eschew all manner of rancour for the interest of all a sundry.

Gommam emphasized that with the constant stakeholders meeting the APC in Plateau state under the stewardship of Lalong is ready for victory.

We must work hard at wards, LGAs, and the state level to bring people closer to the government, as a political party, we must be willing to put aside our sentiment and parochial interest for the interest of the state.

The governor admonished the APC stakeholders in Langtang North/South to eschew politics of bitterness and embrace all-inclusiveness for the interest of our democracy, he added.

He advised the APC stalwarts against anti-party activities that are capable of making them lose their relevance during the forthcoming general elections in the country.

Nanbol Josiah charged that governor Lalong put heads together with office holders, party men, and women to achieve success and redeem the APC in the country, but, however, stressed the overwhelming support of all of us.
