The aspirant for the Plateau Southern Senatorial district bye-election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon John Dafaan, has vowed to restore the battered image of the district if giving the mandate in the forthcoming exercise.

 

 

The Former Chief Staff to Governor Simon Bako  Lalong, who is vying for the bye-election for the first time after the death of Ignatius Datong Longjan demise.

 

He said, “I appeal to the electorates the credible APC to vote me, as their senatorial candidate election, which was scheduled by INEC.

 

Mr. John Dafaan who encouraged our electorate to come out in mass and vote for qualitative representation urged the people not to elect misfits and people of questionable background into a public position of authority.

 

He described politics as a serious business that must not be left in the hands of few individuals, saying that the people of plateau south are peaceful citizens who are interested in the zoning arrangement since the return of democracy.

 

Dafaan stressed that the people can no longer afford to submit their collective destiny to one but solicited the cooperation of all sons and daughters of the zone put their hands on deck towards promoting the tenet of democracy dividends.

 

He pointed out that “Let’s not vote for people of the same tribe, religion or political background who will disgrace our senatorial district. We cannot leave our senatorial district in the hands of few”.

 

“I will redeem the image of Plateau South, and serve you with dignity. A vote for the APC is a vote for development. Vote for me because I am a man of proven integrity,” John Dafaan says.

He, however, urged the people of Plateau to consider him and defend their vote to avoid unnecessary wrangling because we are one family so no politics would divide us.
