Lalong Eulogizes NSCDC, Task To Them To Promote Nigeria Unity

Governor Simon Lalong has commended the positive  contributions of the NSCDC in promoting the territorial  boundaries of the country and to also secure  the  country from vandals through peaceful coexistence .

 

The Governor called on other sister agencies in the maintenance of peace and pledged continuous support to enable them carry out their responsibilities affectively.

 

Plateau State Governor and new Chairman of the Northern Governors forum said he will use his experience to unite the people and surmount the security challenge in the north.

 

Lalong who stated this when he visited the commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps at the headquarters in Abuja stressed the need for tolerance and unity among Nigerians for peace to prevail.

 

Lalong commended the federal government for timely intervention of security personnel when needed.

 

 

Responding Commandant General of the Nigeria and civil Defence Corps, Abdulahi Muhammadu commended the Plateau State Government for purchasing office accommodation for the Corp in the state worth four hundred million naira.
