The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has approved the appointment of Sheik Sani Yahaya Jingir as the Plateau State Amirul Hajj to the Holy Land of Saudi Arabia.
The Director, Press and Public Affairs Samuel Emmanuel Nanle who made statement available to the press yesterday said that Governor Lalong assures all intending Pilgrims from the state of proper arrangement for their safety and comfort both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
According to him, all intending Pilgrims who have completed their Hajj fare payments are expected to appear for screening before the 2015 Hajj Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon. Danlami Abdullahi Mohammed which will commence from Wednesday 29th July, 2015 as from 10:00am – 6:00pm throughout the duration the screening exercise will last.
