Lalong Appoints Izam Azi As Ag. Head Of Civil Service

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has approved the appointment of Mr. Izam Azi mni as the Acting Head of Civil Service of Plateau State with immediate effect.

The director of Press affairs to Plateau state government ,Mr Nanle Emmanuel who disclosed this in a press statement.

Mr Izam Azi mni until his appointment was the Permanent Secretary Government House Administration; he takes over from Barr Mrs Huldah Fwangchi mni who has proceeded on retirement in line with extant Public Service law and Civil Service Rule.

While wishing the immediate past Head of Civil Service the best that the future holds for her, the Executive Governor wishes to express his profound appreciation on behalf of the Government and People of Plateau State for her years of meritorious professional service, the benefit of which his administration has had in her intervention in the resolution of the labour unrest inherited, and the reorganization of the Civil Service which she had kick started in line with the APC Civil Service Reform Programme.

Mr Izam Azi mni is expected with this appointment to bring his wealth of experience garnered over the years to bear in positioning the State Civil Service for excellence and professionalism in Service delivery.
