Labour Party Don’t Have Factions In Nigeria-Hon. Hon. Grace Zamfara

The Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) in Plateau State Hon. Grace Zamfara has disclosed that the Hon.Julius Abure remained the authentic National Chairman of the Labour Party in Nigeria, however, those glamouring for leadership should understand that the supreme court had delivered judgment dismissing Lamidi Bashiru Apapa.

She called on the Lamidi Bashiru Apapa camp to join the winning team and accept it as the spirit of sportsmanship that the party didn’t have a faction in Nigeria as she advised the camp of Alh.Lamidi Bashiru Apapa to close rank and work for the progress after the supreme court judgment that recognized the leadership of Hon. Julius Abure as the substantive National Chairman in April ,2023.

Mrs. Zamfara made this known while debunking the alleged judgment in favour of Hon Lamidi Bashiru Apapa camp by one Mr. Solomon Ndam in an interview in Jos.

She debunked the wild chase goose spread to Nigerian that their leader is the only authentic chairman but called on supporters to disregard them as they’re crying wolves.

Mrs. Zamfara said since 1999 she and former Governor Joshua Dariye have been maintaining a cordial working relationship because as the first Chairman Bukuru ward was Dariye resident, we conduct congress under my stewardship.

She maintained that those who are peddling allegations that I’m not the chairman of the Plateau State Chapter of Labour Party are confused but as the leader of the party, I didn’t know Lamidi Bashiru Apapa was that man whom the party expelled long ago.

Zamfara condemned that the party was not aware of the purported convention held in Bauchi state which endorsed him as untrue and baseless.

“We didn’t forge the documents of any candidates to substitute them with any favour of the candidates in both the general elections and seasonal elections in Imo, Kogi, and other states.

” Those playing the script of cheap blackmail that the party national chairman collected bribe to impose unpopular candidates are liars but they have any proof they are free to tender them in court law,” she explained.

Grace said the former Governor Joshua Dariye was a close associate when she was the chairman of Bukuru ward apart from that we didn’t have any business sponsoring delegates in the last election.

She was dissatisfied with the court judgment that affirmed the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and that the winner of the 25th February 2023 in Nigeria was Dr Peter Obi.

We are still waiting to reclaim our stolen mandate at the Supreme Court because what happened is not the true reflection of the people of Nigeria’s voice.
