The Federal Lawmaker representing Jos North/ Bassa Constituency Hon. (Dr) Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande has commemorated with the Christians during this celebration of Easter by charging them to emulate to use the occasion and reflect the teaching of Jesus Christ.
Yahaya-Kwande gave this message to the Christian brotherhood celebration of life and death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
He challenged all believers to always remain committed to the teachings of God Almighty by inculcating the daily teaching in the lives of children so that they can imbibe the spirit of tolerance and peaceful coexistence in promoting unity.

We thank God for another year of Easter celebration, a feast of love, peace, and sacrifice to humanity, he assured that time of the resurrection reminds us of God’s supreme reign over creation as despair is overcome by hope; hatred is overcome by love; injustice by forgiveness and death by eternal life.
As we celebrate, let us pray for the country, love one another not minding religion and ethnic differences. We should embrace one another and make our sacrifices through praying and supporting the good works of President Muhammadu Buhari and our dear Governor Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong leading us to the Next Level.
Kwande urged politicians to eschew violence and embark on preaching the gospel of trust, honesty, and transparency in their conduct; he expressed optimism that Nigeria would be great against.
He appealed to citizens of Nigeria to embrace peace and unity of oneness in promoting our democracy through active participation in the peace dialogue.
