Kunde Emerges Bauchi State APC Chairman

Hon Sanusi Aliyu Kunde has emerged as the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress party APC in Bauchi State. The Chairmanship contestants had earlier signified their interest to lead the party in the state after it was zoned to  Bauchi Central geopolitical area, Dr Awal Mohammed, Alhaji Aliyu Dogarai, and Alhaji Musa Bayero were the contestants that stepped down for Kunde.

The nationwide State Congresses also held across the country, Saturday, with that of Bauchi being exercised in a peaceful and rancour-free atmosphere, in-spite of earlier apprehension. Party stakeholders praised the exercise and said it was in line with the APC’s constitution which recognized affirmation, consensus and election.

It was on this arrangement that APC stalwarts gathered at Zaranda Hotel in Bauchi were they agreed to make concessions on other positions except that of the Chairman.
