The Paramount Ruler of Karu Local Government,the headquarter of Karu, Pharmacist Luka Baba Panya has called on government at all levels to Accord impetus to infrastructure which he said include provision of potable water,health facility and access road network.

The traditional Ruler gave the disclosure when the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance paid him a homage at his palace in continuation of his campaign rally to Karu.

Baba Panya says the called became necessary considering the plight of the people of Karu who were excise from key basic amenities, adding the people of surrounding Communities are in quandary lacking all social amenities

“Adon Kasa are surviving on stream and pond water while Koya,Kabusu deserved government attention”.

He appealed to the State government to set  aside 10 percent of Internally Generated Revenue to Karu Local Government been the Council generating the highest IGR to the State.

The governorship candidate of APGA said

Nasarawa State would be a hub of making business if the All Progressives Grand Alliance won March,9 2019 governorship election.

He stated this during a meeting with different ethnic groups at Bahago Hotel,Karu Local Government.

He described Presidential and National Assembly elections in Nasarawa State as a conspiracy between the government in power and the Independent National Electoral Commission.
