A female member of the Plateau State House of Assembly Member representing Pankshin North, Barrister Mrs. Hon. Alice Dimlong Member Representing Pankshin North in the State Assembly has described the butchers of innocent helpless women and children in Plateau as blood-sucking demons.
In her press statement made available to the media on Saturday as she described the incident as unfortunate.
She said, “It is shocking and graphic seeing the butchered remains of our people by blood-sucking demons who only find pleasure in killing. As a mother, it is very painful seeing little babies and innocent children who do not know their left or right being senselessly massacred”.
The lawmaker says, enough of the cold-blooded killings on the Plateau, these people keep moving from one part of the State to the other causing mayhem, I encourage us to remain firm and defend ourselves as enshrined in the constitution.
Mrs. Dimlong sympathized and condolences with the Irigwe nation, Plateau of people, on the ravaged communities and affected persons.
She prayed that God Almighty will expose these heartless beasts and bring them to an end may the blood spilled in the land cry against them.
She condemned how the lives of citizens are not safe and sound in their homes, assuring them of government will provide adequate security and the Security Agencies must show that they are unbiased by performing their constitutional responsibilities.
Mrs. Alice Dimlong further called on her fellow House of Assembly members, other lawmakers, and stakeholders to give necessary support to law enforcement and youth groups as they brainstorm to find a lasting solution to the wanton killings.
She advised Irigwe nation to know that their family, the peace-loving people of Pankshin North and Plateau at large is with them in this trying times, our hearts go out to you all, she said.
